MS4s are required to provide clear guidance on steps and specific actions that the public can take to reduce pollutants in stormwater runoff.
The purpose of the MCM 2 website is to provide Kentucky’s MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) communities with resources and tools for involving the public with stormwater management strategies. MS4 Coordinators will find the resources useful for developing a strategy to meet their MCM 2 public participation and involvement goals. These resources can also be used by a variety of stormwater and water resource managers to involve the public in their programs.
